Technical Specialist (Insurance Systems)
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on professional to lead the migration and launch of our insurance platforms in Italy. You will ensure smooth operations, support local users, and help make our platforms more efficient, robust, and scalable.
Key responsibilities
- Drive and coordinate the rollout of insurance systems in Italy.
- Track issues, follow up on fixes, and ensure systems run smoothly.
- Assist local teams (underwriting, claims, operations) and collect feedback to improve the platform.
- Serve as the connection between DioDea and our technology partners.
- Validate migration results, troubleshoot issues, and run queries to ensure data integrity.
- Spot inefficiencies and suggest technical or operational enhancements to strengthen the platforms.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years in insurance IT systems, fintech/insurtech, or as a business/technical analyst.
- Hands-on experience with system migrations, integrations, or platform roll-outs.
- Working knowledge of databases (MongoDB preferred) and ability to run queries.
- Basic coding/scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, or similar) to automate tasks or debug issues.
- Familiarity with insurance processes (policy issuance, claims, reporting, broker portals).
- Familiarity with ANIA, Quattroroute, and other databases in the Italian ecosystem.
- Strong communication skills in Italian & English; Bulgarian is a big plus.
- A hands-on, problem-solving mindset — comfortable coordinating teams and diving into technical details when needed.
