Handling of a claim that occurred in a foreign country, from the point of view of the injured and not guilty party. When he/she returns to the country where his/her habitual residence is, the injured party can open a claim file for his/her damages to the 4th Motor Directive representative of the insurer for the respective country.
Example: An accident occurs in Bulgaria between an Italian vehicle and/or an individual who has their habitual residence in Italy, and a Bulgarian vehicle that is the guilty party in the accident.
